NEW PROTECTIVE DIRECTION FOR PUBLIC SAFETY

The Transport Minister has released a new protective direction that takes effect April 28th 2016. This protection directive follows the rail incident that occurred in Lac Megatic. REPEAL OF THE LIMITATION PERIOD FOR DANGEROUS GOODS

Transport Canada has extended the statute of limitations to impose penalties for infractions committed in relation to the Act on the transport of dangerous goods.
