Lithium batteries are dangerous!

Given the increasing volume shipped year by year, lithium batteries represent a growing risk factor in transportation. Despite increased quality monitoring during manufacturing, many incidents related to lithium batteries occur every year. The danger is real, regardless of the mode of transport. That is why the United Nations, together with the different competent authorities of the main countries concerned, have established strict rules regarding training of staff, classification, packaging, identification and documentation for the transport of lithium batteries.
