Fire Pushes Evacuation of Over 6000 People

A fire started in the middle of the night in a fertilizer plant, pushed the evacuation of over 6000 citizens of Winston-Salem in North Carolina. It seems that ammonium nitrate is at the origine of multiple explosions throughout the fire’s progression. Ammonium nitrate is the same product responsible for the massive explosions in Beyrouth just last year.
