OBJECTIVE:  The participant will be able to prepare a shipment of radioactive material by ground according to the Canadian TDG regulations..

• Terminology (units of measures, abbreviations, symbols).
• Class 7 and categories.
• Selection of proper shipping names, alphabetical and numeric lists.
• Packaging.
• Marking and labeling.
• Exemptions.
• Shipping documents.
• Canadian TDG requirements.
• Training requirements.
• Emergency procedures.
• Exam.

 

MATERIAL : The participant will be provided handouts, use of a current edition of the Canadian TDG and a training certificate.
